Where to find us

The Pestalozzi Children’s Village is located above Trogen in canton AR. The Visitors’ Centre is equipped with an elevator. Parking spaces for cars and buses are available. It is suggested that wherever possible public transport be used.

By train | on foot

Directly next to the main station St. Gallen, is the stop of the “Appenzeller Bahnen” where you take the train St. Gallen–Trogen. The trip to Trogen station will take you 25 minutes.

Upon arrival at Trogen station, walk a few steps back along the tracks (to stairs).
Follow hiking signpost to Kinderdorf Pestalozzi.

Walk up the hill (app. 10 minutes).
Follow pebbled path to paved road.
Walk up the road (app. 30 metres).

Take a right at the three white houses.
Register at the reception / information desk in Haus Windsor.
