Partner organisations

In development and cooperation projects our partner organisations are the link between us and the children and adolescents who benefit from our work. A constructive and equal partnership is indispensable for sustainable cooperation that strengthens personal responsibility. Our partnerships rest on trust, respect, transparency and mutual understanding.

We work with independent partner organisations of long standing and which offer high-quality project management.

We help to enhance the work carried out by our partners and offer them expert support in project management, as well as in the core areas of education and living in an intercultural environment. We encourage exchange and reciprocal learning among our partners and like-minded organisations.

Among its important strategic partners, the Foundation counts government bodies, such as municipalities, cantons and the Swiss Confederation. In particular, one of our most important partners is the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), which co-funds our cooperation and development programmes. We guarantee that donations are spent efficiently and earmarked for the cause they were allocated to. This is confirmed by the ZEWO seal of approval, granted on the basis of the stringent criteria implemented by the Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation.
