Global Action Week - 132 Millionen Kinder ohne Zugang zu Primarschulbildung (in German)
Extrem tiefe Löhne, unregelmässige Zahlungen, kilometerlange Reisen, um das Gehalt einzufordern und fehlende professionelle Aus- und Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten. So gestaltet sich der Alltag hunderttausender LehrerInnen weltweit. Ein Zustand, der in einem Land wie der Schweiz kaum vorstellbar ist. In der kommenden Woche findet die internationale Bildungskampagne «Global Action Week» statt, die sich für die Verbesserung der Situation von SchülerInnen und LehrerInnen einsetzt. An zahlreichen lokalen Events werden die globalen Missstände im Bildungsbereich und das Recht auf Bildung thematisiert. Im Kinderdorf Pestalozzi in Trogen findet am 18. April ein Event mit SchülerInnen aus der Schweiz und Serbien statt.
