In Myanmar, PCF works with local partner organisations to enable children to access quality education in public schools, particularly in rural areas. PCF in Myanmar contributes to enhancing inclusive and equitable quality education by strengthening basic skill development of vulnerable girls and boys in preschool and primary school living in geographically isolated rural areas stricken by poverty with limited access to inclusive and equitable quality education.

Education Officer 100%

The post is based in Yangon and open to Myanmar nationals or permanent residents only. This position will report to the Country Representative and will be responsible for educational analyses, capacity development, monitoring activities and strategic support to the Country Programme.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable and result-oriented individual, committed to learn from peers, willing to travel in the field 30% and with excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.

Starting date: 1 January 2023 or as per agreement

Main Responsibilities

  1. Analyses of the education sector and support strategic development of the Country Programme.
  2. Knowledge sharing and trainings.
  3. Country Safeguarding Focal Point.
  4. Monitoring and reporting on the results.
