What
In short: a radio project on the topics of respect, identity and diversity.
Who
"Let's Talk About Respect" was developed for school classes, ethics classes, extracurricular youth work groups, youth associations, youth organizations or cultural associations in the canton of St.Gallen and is aimed at young people between the ages of 12 and 18.
How
The project can be implemented in individual lessons or on individual days (weekly, monthly) or on several consecutive days (camp or project week).
Where
It is possible to carry out the project in the school, in the community or at the appropriate camp or project location (also in the Pestalozzi Children's Village).
Cost
"Let's Talk About Respect" is funded by the Department of Integration and Equality of the Canton of St.Gallen. This means that the participating schools and organizations only have to cover the expenses of CHF 210 per class and day.

According to individual agreement (see procedure).

Kick off
The project team of the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation informs the accompanying persons at the school or the community.
Course day
Under the guidance of the project team of the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation, the young people deal with the topic of gender.
Deepening phase
The young people deepen the contents of the course day, develop programs independently and prepare their live contributions. They are supported by accompanying persons on site or by the project team of the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation.
Radio day "on air"
The young people go on the air with their contributions, managed by the project team of the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation.
If the project is implemented as part of a camp or a project week, the day of the course and the in-depth phase merge.
