Why does the Pestalozzi Children's Village exist? What is the Pestalozzi Children's Village doing today? Our exhibition shows the origin and development of the children's village and tells the stories of the village children from then and now.

Winter Magic 2024
With candle making, Christmas baking, fire bowls, fondue fun and much more, the children's village invites you to enjoy the winter magic again this year. On Wednesday, December 4th and Sunday, December 8th, there will be a program for the whole family.
Charity-Tavolata 2024
Our Charity-Tavolata is entering its third round. On 20 June 2024, we will be offering culinary highlights at the Pestalozzi Children's Village.
International Museum Day 2024
May 26, 2024 is International Museum Day in Appenzell. Experience the Pestalozzi Children's Village with exciting exhibitions, creative workshops for children and gastronomic offerings - admission is free.
Winter magic 2023
Snow crackles under your feet. Dusk casts a bluish light over the Pestalozzi Children's Village. From December 6th to 9th, immerse yourself in the magical world of winter magic in the Pestalozzi Children's Village.
Summer festival 2023
On Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the summer festival took place in the Pestalozzi Children’s Village in Trogen. The visitors learned to write in Cyrillic, presented on the radio and discovered our world of education and children's rights.
Charity Tavolata 2023
In partnership with the Schweizer Tafel, the second Charity Tavolata took place on June 22nd. Professional chefs create a summery table full of delicacies from vegetarian food waste.
