Ever since the first houses were built in the Pestalozzi Children's Village more than 70 years ago, we have been pursuing one goal with our work: making the world more peaceful. Whether in the "Dörfli" in Trogen, in the extra-Rhodic region, as a meeting place for children and young people from different countries and cultures, or with the promotion of good school education in developing countries - you choose where you would like to work with your sponsorship.

Why a sponsorship?

Not only a chosen child or a single school benefits from your commitment as a sponsor, but an entire region. With little administrative effort, you allow us to plan projects efficiently and over the longer term. In return, you will receive a report every six months and will find out directly what your contribution has achieved. You also have access to events - and last but not least the certainty that you are making a major contribution to a more peaceful world. The sponsorship can be canceled at any time.

Damit wir gezielt planen, strategisch handeln und nachhaltig wirken können, sind regelmässige Beiträge von Patinnen und Paten entscheidend. So können wir immer im Interesse derer handeln, die wirklich zählen: Kinder und Jugendliche.

The Pestalozzi Children's Village is officially certified and is subject to strict guidelines for transparency and responsible use of funds. Your donation is in good hands and will be used directly for the children's projects.

Yes, the sponsorship is flexible. You can end it at any time without notice.

77 per cent of the funds flow into our projects. Administrative expenses at the Pestalozzi Children's Village average 23 per cent and include the costs of human resources, accounting, IT, infrastructure, fundraising and advertising.

Yes, you will receive regular reports from the projects and the annual magazine.

Yes, there are recommended monthly amounts, but you can also set an individual amount.

Yes, all donations to the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation are tax-deductible in Switzerland.

No, sponsorship supports entire communities and educational projects. This means that many children benefit in the long term.
