Summer Camp Colours of Peace

Interactive and creative for peace and human rights - the "Colours of Peace" summer camp, which is planned to take place from 3 to 17 August 2024, will bring together teenagers and young adults from Switzerland and their peers from various countries in the Middle East. They will have the opportunity to explore issues of peaceful coexistence in workshops.

The idea behind it

What exactly happens?

As "Agents of Change", the 60 to 70 young people are given the space to discuss the demanding social challenges in their home countries and work together to develop visions for the future on this basis. These begin in a dreamy utopia and result in tangible action plans. Tangible, because the plans can be implemented at home once the project, which is being organised in cooperation with the John Paul II Foundation and with financial support from Movetia, has been completed.

Are you ready for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure this summer and between 16 and 18 years old?

Stand up for a more peaceful world at the Summer Camp Colours of Peace from 3 to 17 August 2024.

Be part of an international summer camp at the Pestalozzi Children's Village in Trogen. Make friends through intensive exchange, exciting workshops, fun and great experiences with peers from different countries. And improve your English all by yourself.

Costs: CHF 250 including accommodation, meals and workshops. Individual travel and insurance costs are not included. 50% discount is available with the Kulturlegi and if your siblings also register.

Extracurricular education programme

Discover our range in Switzerland

Around 6000 children and young people take part in Pestalozzi Children's Village projects in Switzerland every year. Topics such as freedom of expression, anti-racism and discrimination are developed in a child-friendly way, and prejudices are broken down through direct encounters. Three quarters of the projects are financed by private donors.
