On 6 September 2025, the Pestalozzi Children's Village will open its doors for an exciting printing workshop. As part of the Appenzell museum network, children can get creative, design their own prints and experience history along the way. True to the motto: "Back to the beginnings - print like the children of the past!"
The workshop is inspired by the historic magazine "Friendship", which was designed and printed by children in the Children's Village almost 80 years ago and has recently become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This course picks up on this special story and enables children to slip into the role of young print artists themselves. Small works of art are created in the style of the children's press of the time, with lots of colour, imagination and fun.
