On 2 September 2026, the Pestalozzi Children’s Village is hosting a colourful printing workshop. In the workshop, children can get creative, learn about different techniques and design their own prints. True to the motto: ‘Printing like children used to!’
Get creative, try something new and experiment with colours and paper: the print workshop is all about the world of printing. Various printing techniques are taught in a way that’s suitable for children of all ages, and participants can try them out straight away.
The workshop is inspired by the historic magazine *Freundschaft*, which was designed and printed by children at the Children’s Village almost 80 years ago and has recently been added to the UNESCO Memory of the World Register. This course draws on this special history and enables children to step into the shoes of young print artists themselves. In the style of the children’s press of that era, they create their own little works of art.
2 September 2026 at the visitor centre, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The workshop costs CHF 15 per person.
