What's planned?
The Pestalozzi Children's Foundation supports the Guatemalan Ministry of Education in improving the quality of teaching - especially in multi-grade schools.
The focus is on:
- developing curricula and learning materials,
- promoting reading and writing skills,
- strengthening the pedagogical skills of teachers (including digital methods),
- creating safe, child-friendly and environmentally conscious learning environments.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an NGO with local legal roots in Guatemala that:
- has proven experience in the areas of education quality, children's rights and safe learning spaces,
- works with clear responsibilities between strategic management and operational implementation,
- uses PCM and RBM (Project Cycle Management / Results-Based Management) methods,
- has solid financial and monitoring systems,
- has already implemented child protection and PSEAH (Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment) guidelines or is willing to develop them.
