The open youth work centres in Heiden and Trogen-Wald-Rehetobel have been given a new look. The new look is modelled on the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation, while the work with young people remains unchanged.
Open youth work (OJA) accompanies and empowers young people in their free time and thus makes an important contribution to extracurricular education. Youth work professionals encourage independent behaviour, create spaces for encounters, participation and development and support young people on this path. Whether in the youth centre, in projects or through individual support: the needs and perspectives of young people are at the centre of OJA.
The OJA has now adopted the visual identity of the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation. This makes the connection to the foundation more visible: both are committed to supporting young people and share core values such as participation, equal opportunities and respectful cooperation.
The rebranding changes the appearance, but not the attitude: youth work remains close to the young people and creates a place where adolescents can be who they are.
