On Saturday 22 August 2026, the Pestalozzi Children’s Village will be celebrating its 80th anniversary with a colourful summer festival. Papa Moll will be visiting the Children’s Village as a special guest and will be presenting his new book – about the Children’s Village – at the event. Live music from Andrew Bond, a bungee trampoline and much more will make the summer festival the perfect day out for young and old alike.
The summer festival will feature a very special highlight: Papa Moll is visiting the Children’s Village to present his new book, *Papa Moll in the Children’s Village*. Guests will have the chance to meet the well-known comic character and buy the anniversary book on the spot.
Andrew Bond, YESHE and the Goofechörli Gonten will be setting the mood on stage. There are also plenty of other attractions on offer: in the huge sandpit, children can build amazing things, soar high on the bungee trampoline or explore the children’s village on a fun discovery tour. The programme also includes face painting, hands-on activities and fascinating insights into the foundation’s history and educational work.
