What
Young people create their own radio programmes on the topic of respect. In doing so, they deal with social diversity and equal opportunities and reflect together on prejudices and discriminatory behaviour.
Who
"Let's Talk About Respect" has been developed for classes and youth groups aged 12 - 18 from the canton of St.Gallen.
How
An exciting input day with the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation project team is followed by a radio day on which the young people's programmes are broadcast live at school.
Where
It is possible to carry out the project at school, in the community or at the Pestalozzi Children's Village.
Cost
"Let's Talk About Respect" is funded by the Integration and Equality Department of the Canton of St.Gallen. This means that the participating schools and organisations only have to pay the expenses of CHF 210 per class and day.

According to individual agreement (see procedure).

Procedure
Kick-off
The Pestalozzi Children's Foundation project team discusses the project implementation with the accompanying persons (teachers, youth workers, etc.) in advance.
Input day
The young people deal with the topic of respect under the guidance of the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation project team.
In-depth phase
The accompanying persons provide time slots between the project days so that the young people can prepare their contributions.
Radio day "on air "
The young people go on air with the contributions they have prepared, guided by the Pestalozzi Children's Foundation project team.
