Charity-Tavolata 2025 Pat Burgener Kinderdorf Pestalozzi
Around the children's village

A table that connects

Between wonderful flavours, lively table conversations and a golden dusk, this year's charity tavolata was an evening full of well-being. The musical interludes by Pat Burgener hit the right note on the balmy summer evening and made the enjoyment complete for all the senses.

Children playing late into the night in the children's village, clinking glasses, dishes that seemed to outdo each other with every course and over 140 guests at the long table: that's how lively the Charity Tavolata 2025 was at the Pestalozzi Children's Village. For the fourth time, enjoyment and fellowship combined to create an evening that symbolises solidarity and good company.

The dishes conjured up by the top chefs and their teams left nothing to be desired. Was it the crostini with grilled nectarines by Beda Röthlisberger (Culinarium Alpinum), the Harira soup by Zineb Hattab (Restaurant KLE), the tomato caviar by Hans Inauen (Pestalozzi Children's Village), or the tempting chocolate trilogy by Vanessa Schnyder (Confiserie Roggwiller) that made for the satisfied faces? In the end, it was probably the variety that made the evening a feast for all the senses. Each dish contributed to the culinary delights in its own way.

When Pat Burgener picked up his guitar between courses and Adrian Strazza, Head of Business Development, explained why "education is the key" and the sun's rays cast a golden filter over the backdrop, the atmosphere could hardly have been more atmospheric. The charity tavolata not only filled bellies, but also hearts. Sometimes all it takes is a long table to bring people together.
